Bradley Kent

BRADLEY KENT  started karting at Red Lodge when he was 6 yrs old and on his 7th birthday had his first race there taking the novice trophy.

He raced at Red Lodge until he was 8 yrs old because at 7 he could only race at non-MSA tracks.  From 8 yrs onwards he raced all over the country competing in club championships and national race series such as Formula Kart Stars and Super One.

He competed in the Comer cadet class to start with and then moved on to IAME cadet when that engine was introduced. He had a lot of success over the years, winning club championships and can boast of having a full trophy cabinet from his cadet years.

Bradley then went on to race minimax but at this time started to become more involved with his other passion of Pony Racing, although he had a lot of success in the minimax class he concentrated on his pony racing becoming 4 times National Champion, something no one else has ever done.

In November 2016 Bradley was invited to drive the new Renault Junior Clio at Blyton Park. Having never driven a car before he was reluctant to have a go but as his brother was going as well thought it would be a good day out. After 2 sessions in the car with an instructor, Bradley was on the pace of much more experienced Junior drivers and decided then that he would like to race in a Junior car in 2017 while cutting back on his horse racing.

Having agreed with his sponsors Essex Bodies that the Clio formula was going to be too expensive, decided that the Fiesta Junior Championship offered competitive racing at an affordable price so this year Bradley will make his racing come-back at 15 yrs old in a Ford Fiesta ST at Brands Hatch in April.
