Nathan is an 18-year-old racing driver with a huge passion for Motorsport. He was brought up attending Race Meetings throughout the UK, watching his Father from a very young age. The aspiration to one day compete in the British Touring Car championship was born. Since his debut in Fiesta Racing at Brands Hatch at just 14 years of age, Nathan has moved up through the Junior ranks into competitive senior racing in 2016, progressing quickly and collecting silverware along the way with wins and podiums in both categories.

Nathan made his debut in 2013 at Brands Hatch in the National BRSCC Fiesta Juniors, the championship in which he went on to compete in for two Full Seasons, gaining valuable experience at tracks all over the UK such as Silverstone, Snetterton, Donnington Park, Brands Hatch and perhaps his strongest – Castle Combe where he picked up his first Junior win. In 2015, Nathan took Pole Positions at Donnington Park and Brands Hatch and achieved seven Podium positions; including a win at the fastest circuit in the country (Castle Combe) and finished 3rd in the overall standings. His efforts during the 2015 Season also saw Nathan become a nominee and end as ‘Runner up’ in the Courier Group Newspaper’s “Young Sports Star of the Year 2015.”

After leaving School in the summer of 2015, and on achieving the required academic grades, Nathan was selected by the MSA (Motorsport Association) to further his education, along with other selected young talent of his age from around the UK, to become an AASE Elite Athlete. This is a programme sponsored by the MSA and Nathan is now enjoying his second year of education at the Academy (based within Loughborough College) where he learns about all aspects of Motorsport including the practical, physical, mental and business sides. Recently, Nathan was nominated by the MSA College and was a finalist in the 2016 Racing Steps Foundation MSA Young Driver of the Year Award which was a fantastic recognition of his ability and achievements during the 2015/16 Seasons.

Nathan moved into the Senior Category of the National BRSCC Quaife Fiesta Championship for 2016. He made the step-up with the familiarity of his race team Daniels Motorsport (who he had raced with since his Junior debut in 2013.) This was a completely new challenge for him moving on from racing fellow 14-17 Year Olds on Dunlop Direzza Treaded Tyres to racing all ages on a Dunlop Slick Rubber at just 17. Other Changes included the Qualifying format with Race 2 grid positions being determined by a 2nd Fastest Lap time from the Saturday Qualifying Session – which is a “Clio Cup Style” format. The aforementioned, along with the new Quaife Differential which was a Regulation change for 2016, provided Nathan with a steep learning curve. Despite all the challenges, Nathan exceeded all expectations taking his first Senior Win at Castle Combe and enjoying 4 Podiums, 2 Fastest Laps and finishing 4th place overall in the final standings, narrowly missing out on 3rd by one point after a year of continual learning, and competing against extremely strong and experienced senior drivers. Away from the results, Nathan impressed teams and individuals in the paddock with his ability to consistently Qualify at the front in the Saturday sessions and continually run at the front of a substantial grid of cars during the Sunday racing; this combined with his determined, but fair racing and overtaking skills enabled a beyond all expectations and fantastic 2016 campaign.

Nathan’s work has also been acknowledged with his Social Media skills and consistent Sponsor mentions during Television interviews which has helped promote awareness of products and services. Nathan goes into 2017 with strong ambitions, moving his focus to consistent race wins, the Fiesta Championship Title and a Clio Cup Debut.
